3.3 GPA 30 on the ACT what business schools can I get into?

I am not asking for a chance me thread but more of recomendations for schools that would fit my academic profile. A lot of you parents probably have kids with similar scores and I hope you can share what type of schools they got into. Keep in mind I have no extra curricular or volunteer activities from my school.

I do have an online job doing search engine marketing and some reputation management stuff for local business. I can get good letters from my Honors teachers.

is that your weighted GPA?

What is your home state?

What kinds of universities do you like?

Do you have any cost constraints? How much will your parents pay?

Thank you so much for the response! Unweighted GPA is 3.3, I am for Minnesota and I love big schools. My parents wont be able to pay for much since we are in the less than 50k bracket but I’;m afraid I won’t get any scholarship funds because of my low GPA. Both parents are immigrants but my dad has a masters if public administration from Hamline U and my mom has a GED.

I don’t see myself working for someone else but starting my own business. I would love a school with a strong focus on entrepreneurship. Location would be West coast or east coast. I’m not a fan of the midwest.

You may want to check out Arizona State University W.P Carey School of Business. Undergraduate business program is ranked 24th by USNWR. They do offer a B.S. in Business Entrepreneurship. Admission criteria is clearly spelled out on their website. For freshman class entering Fall 2013: 1. Meet general admission requirements plus 2. One of the following: 1160 SAT OR 25 ACT OR top 8% of graduating class OR overall 3.60 GPA in core competency courses. Using their Freshman Merit Scholarship estimator, a 3.3 GPA/30 ACT score may qualify you for a maximum $11,500/year scholarship; ASU recalculates your GPA (“competency GPA”) using unweighted grades in competency courses so your competency GPA may be different from your high school GPA. Use their Net Price Calculator to get an idea what your total price will be to see if it will be affordable for you and your family.

" My parents wont be able to pay for much since we are in the less than 50k bracket" - That will likely qualify you for need-based Financial Aid.

Be aware that you typically can’t “stack” FA and merit scholarships. So look for schools that strive to fill all or most “need”, the amount left after EFC (Expected Family Contribution). You can find gobs of info on these threads - good luck!
