3.4 GPA, 31 ACT where should I apply?

3.4 UW, 3.6 W
31 ACT
6 APs
2 Varsity sports
HS is in top 2% in nation for public schools

Planning on applying to: Ohio State, UCLA, University of Oregon, SDSU, Cal Poly SLO, Arizona State

Any other ideas on where i should apply? I'm looking for a big school with a great business program (and if at all possible a good sports management program).

Any replies would be greatly appreciated!

Where are you from? Depending on where you live tuition will likely be a lot cheaper, and many universities are harder on out of state applicants. Such as UCLA which requires out of state applicants to have a GPA of at least 3.4 to apply, while in-state applicants only need a GPA of atleast 3.0 to apply. Also what exactly is your ethnicity? This could also play a factor, and in addition are you a senior, if so this could constrain where you are applying to, due to deadlines.

Arizona State: Safety
Cal Poly SLO:
U Oregon: Safety
SDSU: Match
UCLA: High match (your GPA is a little low)
Ohio State: Low match

Do you know what you/your family can afford?. You like big state schools with DIV 1 sports. You’re smart to want to apply to several more- do so even if you don’t visit until after you are accepted. DD applied to 10 out-of-state large publics and received significant merit aid from some, none from others, didn’t get in to a few. We never would have been able to anticipate the final cost before results- it really changed the high-to-low ranking concerning costs. Watch out for ‘living costs’. We determined we just couldn’t afford to provide an apartment for D in the Cal Poly area. Not an area we could afford to live- so we weren’t going to pay that for her to live there either.

Thanks for all the responses.

I’m a senior who lives in CA.
White ethnicity and can afford up to around 35k per year.

I have been looking at other schools like UCSB UCI Michigan and Syracuse
