I just got my semester grades. 3.52--is that considered a good gpa for emory? Also, is it high enough for induction into the dean's list?

is that weighted? if not, then it's not TOO bad as long as it's in very tough classes, if it's weighted, than it's a little low.

i think he meant his semester grades at emory...and even though i don't go there, a 3.52 anywhere, especially emory is good.

ohh, I should have gotten that. It doesn't sound too bad though, the deans list requirements are probably posted online.

It's not weighed. The dean's list requirements are pretty vague. It says that we must be in the top 20% of the class for that semester. However, it doesn't say what GPA is usually needed to be in the top 20%.

That's not going to make it. You have to have above a 3.8 pretty much to make the Deans List.

Giants, are you serious? Woah, there must be some serious grade inflation at Emory if that's so.

yea...that owuld make the average gpa around like 3.5 - which is almost an a-....a tad ridiculous

Can somebody clarify what grade inflation is exactly? At Emory 93-100% in a class is ussually an A = 4.0 on GPA scale, no A+'s...I got 3.75, that wont make the deans list?
