I know my gpa is really low especially for engineering, so am i looking at all the wrong colleges all together? Suggestions for colleges more my level?
please help!

What is your CSU/UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Cal Poly SLO: No, low acceptance rate and stats below average
Cal Poly Pomona: Yes
SDSU/CSULB/UCR/UCSC: Worth applying
SJSU: Yes

GPA is king with UC’s, so unless your UC GPA is 4.0+ and ACT is 30+, I would look at UCR/UCSC as your best options.

Thanks for the input! my uc gpa is a 3.89…

My friend got into Rutgers engineering with 3.5 weighted gpa and 1810sat. My other friend also got in a with 3.8 weighted gpa and 2130 sat. People worry too much about colleges, you will do well. A lot of big state universities would take you, and some top private schools too!
