For students like me with a lower 3.6 unweighted GPA, but also with higher SAT scores:
m: 760
R: 730
W: 780
SAT II:
770
740

And also great Recs and ECs and Essays and a rigorous course load, what are some colleges to apply to as matches?

I dslike the notion that a 3.6 is a ‘low’ GPA- it’s good, okay? Not “OMG AMAZING” but it’s really good. And especially if you’re excellent in every other feild, I wouldn’t worry much. What kind of schools are you looking for?

That is still a very good GPA and with your SAT scores you should be able to get into the majority of the schools that you want to apply to. What schools are you thinking of going to and why? What matters most to you when choosing a college? Pick those colleges and just apply.

Thanks guys I’m applying to
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCSan Diego
Emory
UChicago?
Claremont McKenna
Cornell,
HOpkins
USC
…idk tell me what you think!:)

always have hope man but chances for making up for that GPA is really low. these ivies and top really dont care if everything is stellar. they wont overlook the fact that GPA is low especially if you dont have hooks. only urms can get into top schools iwth a 3.6. Take a shot but chances are slim.
