3.6 W and 29 ACT

About weighted vs. unweighted GPA… most schools don’t bother to convert weighted to unweighted, as the volume of applicants is so high. They look at grade scales, letter grades and weighted GPAs. I mean for the love of God, my HS GPA was 3.8 when I applied to college, but if it’s unweighted and only includes the “academic” classes, it’s a 3.25. With my three top choices being BU, UPenn and Penn State (Main), I got into all three. What does that tell you about GPA? 1420 SAT (no clue what I got on writing since it was irrelevant) too, so it’s not like I was some perfect SAT person.

If you want to go some place, apply. If it’s a reach, it’s a reach and you should know it, but you aren’t going to get into a place to which you don’t apply.
