Does a 3.65 leave me out of the running for Smith early decision? I have taken 9 APs and have a 4.5 weighted. Other than that I have a very strong application extracurricular, essay, and reccomendation wise. Decent test scores as well.

Go for it. Make sure your essay is very strong, and make sure you have an interview.
I second twobugs advice. My daughter’s gpa was around there and she was accepted (ED). She feels that her strong common app essay and interview helped her seal the deal.
