Will you be retesting? Will you take the ACT as well?

Do you want to be within driving distance to NJ?

What do you want in a school?

Rural? City campus?

Large? small?

spirited rah rah?

What is your budget? How much will your parents spend each year? Your budget will largely determine where you should apply.

On another thread, OP stated only allowed $10,000-$12,000/ year from her father.
On still another thread, OP said her father was unemployed!

So I don’t recommend that posters jump in with schools costing over $50,000/year.

I need to stay away from schools that will be over 36,000 total. I’m also struggling between choosing school that are reputable but will cost me or schools that aren’t as reputable but will most likely give me more money for my grades. I feel that in business a degree from a reputable school is vital to get a good job right out of school.

Taylor…can you clarify? Do you have a college fund? If not, where will the $36k per year come from? And, what is the $10-12k per year about???

but will most likely give me more money for my grades

Money is typically given for TEST scores and GPA…BOTH are needed. Right now, your 1850 SAT isn’t high enough to really bring in a lot of money at most schools.

Depending on how your GPA & SATs turn out, you could be eligible for $14,000 or $12,000per year in merit aid, at Alfred University, which would bring the COA down from $38,000 per year. There is also an Honors Program at AU, which you could check into and see if you would be eligible for that, but you must have an interview.
