3.7 GPA enough to be considered by Wellesley?

hi there everyone, i'm just wondering, is a 3.7 GPA (on a scale of 4.3, though ppl rarely get past 4) from a good community college enough to get into Wellesley? Given, of course, that i have great recs, essays and ECs. thanks for any input on this issue.

Personally, I feel like GPA isn't the only thing that matters anymore. I feel like it really matters about the strength of everything else, and you mentioned that you had great ones. So sure, why not?

thanks for the encouragement catsushi. a 3.7 is actually an A- average in my school and is generally considered a very good GPA, it's just I feel that I need to get more opinions to see if it's good enough on top of everything else....anymore opinions?

You're on the border of maybe/not. It will really depend on your essay .. and of course legacy. My friend got in with a 3.5 on a 4.8 scale, but her whole family went to Wellesley.
