Is a 3.85 GPa too low for HYP? Take out freshman year, it is a 3.95. I have a 35 ACT, 790, 770 SAT II. Does Princeton count freshman year? Rumor has it, they don’t.
NO
@ManaManaWegi No, as in 3.85 is not too low or that they don’t count frosh year?
3.85 is not “too” low In that it will not disqualify admission.
@ezbreezy8022 the average GPA was a 3.90 (see Princeton Common Dataset sections C11, C12 https://registrar.princeton.edu/university_enrollment_sta/CDS2015-16.pdf) so a 3.85 is good enough and won’t hold you back if your course rigor is high. Also, Princeton does look at Freshman Year GPA and course rigor.
