3 APs too much for Sophmore? AP World/Biology Difficulty?

Hi all,

I’m currently a freshman in high school right now, and I’m viewing all honors classes right now (and have As in all of them). I’m currently in the process of selecting courses for next year, and I’m not sure how about how many APs to take—my options are currently AP World History, AP Psychology, and AP Biology (I’m currently taking an honors biology course this year). My other classes would include pre-calculus, chemistry, English, and Spanish 4 (all honors). Would taking AP World History and AP Biology simultaneously be feasible? Are any of these courses particularly difficult?

I’m also currently unsure of whether or not to take AP World; at my school, both honors world history and AP World are offered, and honors and AP courses are weighted the same in terms of GPA. Taking honors world history would definitely be easier (although not necessarily easy) and result in the same GPA weighting, however, AP World History has the benefit of being an AP course, which I assume colleges would appreciate seeing. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks.

Don’t take AP Bio and Chem at the same time. Wait for that. Take AP WS and possibly AP Psych.

Take AP WS and AP Psych as a sophomore. Save Bio/Chem for junior year.

Take chemistry next year as planned and AP Bio as a junior or senior. Don’t forget to fit in physics somewhere.
AP world is hard but you seem up for for the challenge.
AP psych is an elective. You may take it or not, depending on whether you’re interested. (the content is very interesting).
The rest of your schedule sound quite challenging.
