I doubt that very many people have taken this combination, but I'm wondering if this looks like too much (I'm not an especially fast/efficient worker):

Chem 120A
Chem 104A
Chem 135
Engineering 117
BioE 24 (seminar, requires no work as far as I know)

Anyone have experience with E117 or Chem 135? I know 120A is supposed to be time consuming, and I hear 104A can be, depending on the professor.

There are no labs for these, but maybe that's only because the workload is already heavy? Only 13 units.

Yeah I’ve done something similar to that schedule, in terms of 3-4 chemistry courses per semester. It’s not too bad. Chem 120A should be okay, heard it’s pretty easy with the prof. teaching it this upcoming fall. Problem sets do take a long time, but that’s totally dependent on your prof. Chem 135 will be awesome because Prof. Francis is teaching it, and that course is kind of his thing. Wish I could have taken that under him!

So yeah, it’s only 13 units, but the majority of your time will be spent on 120A, if you want to do well. 135 and 104A shouldn’t take too much of your time. If you’re good with mechanisms involving carbonyl and amine chemistry, 135 should be okay. For 104A, get really good at spatial reasoning of molecules since a huge deal in that class is molecular symmetry and group theory. A good resource is Alan Vincent’s “Molecular Symmetry and Group Theory,” it’s a really small book (cheap too) and is a total lifesaver. Good luck!
