On Midd's website, it offers the option for students to submit 3 SAT subject test scores (in different areas) instead of sending in the SAT1 score. This seems interesting. Has anyone done this before? Or does anyone know anything more about it?

Basically if one's SAT 1 is 2,100 but has SAT 2 from math, science and foreign language that add up to 2,3xx. Should you send in both? or can you really trust the SAT 2 only method? It just seems a bit suspicious.

If you are not sending in a SAT I or ACT I, I would try to take at least one SATII that has reading/English as its core.. English lit, or something. This is about all I could suggest. I will say, however, that S didn't send in SAT I, only ACT.

You also have to remember that if you've ever taken the SATI, it will come with your SAT II unless Midd participates in score choice, but some schools are opting to forego score choice.

We were told by our GC that if a school says it will take either the SAT I or the ACT, to believe them. If it says they will take three SATII in lieu of the others, I would tend to believe it as well. As for WHICH three to take.. I would gander that this is worth considering which might be most beneficial.

I had to take 3 sat IIs for another college and so I just sent in everything....SAT 1's SAT2's... etc. No harm there.

I'd suggest sending in both. It really couldn't hurt your case if you did well on your SAT I, and the SAT II scores could definitely show them that you've mastered subjects well. But if you don't send in your SAT I, then the SAT II could just emphasis your strengths. etc. etc.
