3 semesters into undergrad w/ major issues - considering transfering

Hello all, I'm new to CC and would really appreciate some insight from you.

I'm currently in my 2nd year (3rd semester) at a private Jesuit university. This school is really expensive but I was offered a merit-based scholarship that covers almost half of tuition. I'm mentioning this because the scholarship is only good for 4 years, so I was originally hoping to complete my degree within that time frame.

I entered as an Environmental Science major, and then switched to Dance this year. As it turns out, I'm not really enjoying the dance program here. I would now love to switch to a nursing major (BSN) but no way would I be able to complete that degree within my scholarship's time frame. I am also really unhappy with the location of my school and have had serious talks with my parents about returning home. Basically at this point, it's too late to switch into any major and graduate within those 4 years.

The classes I have under my belt so far are mostly major-specific courses that probably wouldn't help me transfer as anything but a lower-division student. At this point I would really love to just turn back the clock and start over with nursing, but that's unrealistic.

I also have a lease at an apartment here until June. I'm contemplating taking more GE-geared classes next semester so that I at least have some transferable units on my transcript. Ideally I would be out of this lease, drop out, and return home to a JC with hopes of eventually transferring into a BSN program.

Any thoughts on these meditations? I'm confused about who to talk to at my school in terms of what credits I already have that are transferable. Is it a bad idea to start new at a community college and then try to transfer? I feel like I rushed into the university setting without having a path in mind. I know that's ok, however I can't afford to change my mind anymore at this expensive school.
