Wow. This forum is like full of genius kids. 30+ on the first time! I'm taking it for the first time and should get it tomorrow, but I highly doubt I'll get a 30!

Yay. I feel special for some odd reason. 32 =) I was so exhilarated. I couldn't think of a better word haha.

I only got a 29.0. Darn. It's because of Math and Science. :[

I got a 33

English: 28(wasn't thinking, confused comma rules and got my ass kicked)
Math: 33 (forgot matrices and didn't know what ! is defined as)
Reading: 36 (said 35 but it was perfect sub scores)
Science: 34

yeah, first post

C: 31

E: 34
M: 35
R: 26 (how do other people do so well on reading??)
S: 30

= above average for UCLA ^^

35

E,M,R,S = 33,34,35,36 (respectively)

C: 33

E: 34
M: 32
R: 28
S: 36

yeah so today i was informed that if i can't raise my score up to a 34, i am basically screwed for life...
as in i won't do well in college (and you can't get into good schools in the first place). To think i was going to be happy with a 32!!!!

Wow. Who told you a 32 isn't good enough?

32 is in the 99th percentile. For what reason do you think you need a 34 to get into a good school? Even Harvard is 31-34 Middle 50% ACT.

nooo I think a 32 is a GOOD score!!!!!!
MY FAMILY, on the other hand, does not.

Just got my December scores.

Composite: 32
English: 34
Math: 30 (***? I always do better in Math than English!)
Reading: 32
Science: 30

I am so glad I finally got my scores... and WOW these are awesome! I thought I failed the exam when I took it just because I screwed up on the math and ran out of time.

Composite:32
English:29
Math:32
Reading:35
Science:30

Composite:33
English:31
Math:36
Reading:34 (yay for the Chinatown passage!!!)
Science:32 (much better than I thought)

Essay: 8/12...I suppose that is a pretty good score, seeing that I mentioned Plato's Republic and the Communist Manifesto...

Oh, I'm guessing that ^gblob331 got the (sin^4+cos^4) question right on the Math section? :D I got it wrong!!! > < My trig functions bombed right on the spot haha

YES!!! i got a 30! 36 math, 28 Reading, 28 Science, 26 English! 29.5 which is 30! thank GOD! i'm seriously gonna pray right now at this moment..

^Congratulations Jcubed.. I'm hoping my score will be xx.5 too XD

got a 32. up from 30.

E: 34
M: 31
R: 34
S:28 (***?? Lol)

yea science came along and messed me up. good thing is i'm majoring in international relations, not biomedical engineering. :)

I went up from a 25 to a 30~ AND Since i'm a junior, gonna take it AGAIN! so the SATs can just bug off. hahaa

34 -superscore
33 best composite

English -35/36
Score report said 18-mech/18 Rhet but 35?!? I'm going to call that a 36
Math 34
Reading 35!!!!!!!! from a 29 1 month earlier(no prep..read Crime and Punishment before taking test?)
Science 30

12 on writing section

um didn't take the one with sin^4 +cos^4 (variable implied)
but what was the answer
just right now I got

1 - 2sin^2cos^2
reasoning

since
(a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2

and
sin^2+cos^2= 1

(sin^2 + cos^2)^2 = 1^2 = sin^4 + 2sin^2cos^2 + cos^4 = 1

So....
sin^4 + 2sin^2cos^2 + cos^4 = 1

sin^4 + cos^4 = 1 - 2sin^2cos^2

w/variable
sin^4 x + cos^4 x = 1 - (2 sin^2 x * cos^2 x)

feedback...makes sense I think
