31C Superscored ACT...

My highest scores from each section
31 Writing
33 Math
27 Reading
33 Science

My goal is a 33/34C. I’ve tried over 5+ timed practice tests. I can’t seem to stop running out of time on all of them. I bought a wristwatch to help. Should i try bubbling at the end of each page to save time? For science, someone suggested going straight to the questions and that helped me out a bunch. Any other suggestions for reading or writing? Feels like i reached my limit .-----. Should I go straight to the questions for reading, skim first, skim twice, actually read in like 3 min, any suggestions from someone who got a 33+?

@covfefe Sorry, i got the 33 math on my first try. I didn’t really study for it, however, for science i got a 27 on the first one. I used to read the passages and the graphs first, but going straight to the questions got me a 33! If anything I think the science was just easier for the ACT in April. I wanted to add can you tell me what you got for reading? My friend studies with me and she’s amazing at math getting 35/36… she loves reading. Whereas, when I read…the first one and last one is a breeze. Then, I try to attempt the other two and I get frustrated, nothing processes, and i’m running out of time. Any advice is good…

For all sections, finish the page, write down your answers in a blank area in the test book, and then bubble in one go. Circle question numbers in the test book that you aren’t 100% sure about so you can check them later.

That’s what I do, anyway, and I think it really helps.

For math, try getting super familiar with your calculator.

Best of luck!
