32 ACT Translates to a 2220???

I just looked up the official ACT conversion scores.

My April Score:
C 32
E 35
M 33
R 28
S 32

Composite Score SAT CR+M (Single Score)
32 1420

ACT English/Writing Score SAT Writing (Single Score)
35 800

Something I found interesting.......Does this put me in a good position for Harvard etc....?
Or, should I retake?

wouldn’t that be nice if that were true?..no, a 32 is not a 2220 based on how you calculated; you can’t pull out your 35 English score to add it to your M/V conversion…

a 32 is approx a 2140-2180 if I recall from when my daughter applied last year…

This seems pretty reasonable to me:
[SAT-ACT Conversion chart](http://www.spartanburg6.k12.sc.us/dhs/Guidance%20website/SAT-ACT%20Conversion%20chart.html)

I think you need to wait for your essay score before you can draw any conclusions about how it would convert to the SAT writing score. That one is based on your English score as modified by the essay score. The best conversion chart would be the one that ACT and SAT agreed to, and it’s posted on the ACT website.

well, I am just speculating that if my combined score does not change, it will stay that way.

Based on [ACT-SAT Concordance](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/)

Composite 32 = 1420 CR+M
ACT English/Writing Combined 35 = 800 Writing

1420+ 800 =2220

[ACT Conversion chart](http://www.pacificathleticalliance.com/ACTConversionchart.htm) this gives you a 2130
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACT_(examination)</a> this gives you a 2150

so basically you are in the 2130-2160 range - I’m not sure colleges would really care that much between the difference of 2200 and 2150, though, so I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you… they are pretty darn close.

^yeah, but those are not offical charts. The link I posted has the OFFICIAL CONCORDANCE chart from ACT.org and the same one is posted on the collegeboard.com

Paki786, look at this official ACT concordance chart: http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/pdf/reference.pdf</a>.</p>

Your score of a 32 translates to the 2080-2130 range (according to the 2nd page). You would need a composite of 34 to get in the ~2250 range.
