The school I'm mostly looking at is kind of a "low end" school and is a state school, so I will be automatically accepted due to class rank. So that means I will primarily be submitting my application in order to get their merit scholarships. Both of my ACT and SAT scores are well above the average scores for the school, and on their website it says that the average SAT(without writing) score for people that got the highest merit scholarship was a 1469, which is lower than my SAT(without writing) of 1500. My essay on the ACT was a 7, and the essay on the SAT was an 8. I will definitely be submitting the ACT, but should I also submit the SAT or would it harm my application? The 2140 is kind of low compared to the 35, but the 1500 is pretty close to the 35, and it seems like this school doesn't really look at the writing on the SAT.

^ur right in ur assessment. it can’t harm. if one, pick act.
