35 on ACT composite, but awful essay. Which do I send?

<p>These are the only two ACT scores that I have. I'm not sure if I should only submit the 35 comp, or if I should submit the 31 as well because of the improved essay score. Any input will help!</p>

<p>I would say definitely the composite. If you think about it the other way, the 27 in Math definitely will not look good. And you have tons of opportunity to show your writing skills in your application so I wouldn’t worry about the 06 too much. It is definitely not a deal breaker.</p>
