3's on AP exams

in the AP score section i reported my scores.. and they were basically a straight line of 3's.. now im starting to regret my decision to be honest :-( Am i basically going to get rejected despite all my other good qualifications?

If it makes you feel any better, I got deferred, and I had 3's on all of my AP exams.

I don't think AP scores alone will get your application rejected, since the APs are mainly considered for placement or course rigor.

Go do something ing useful. Please. This type of **** is ****ing me off.

Well if you can't get credit for those subjects, don't submit them. While they show that you didn't completely fail, their whole purpose is placing you in higher level courses.

The placement aspect is true only after you are admitted. Though, its influence on admissions is not well-known.

hows Anybody gEt A thrEE i got two 5's And A 4 And knEw nothing .bu i'll tAkE it ......AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Forgive me while i'm annoying for a moment:

Apostrophes are only used when making a noun posessive. To pluralize, simply add an s. For example, "I got several 3s on my AP exams." You would never say "I got several three's on my AP exams."

Guys, if you don't have anything valuable to contribute, the least you can do is not spam this thread when a guy is seriously looking for advice.

sudaneya4ever, from my experience AP scores play a very small part in the college admissions process (although I personally believe they should play a much larger role). I doubt that the 3s will hurt you that much. For example, I know of a friend who got a 3 on her AP Calculus exam and still got into Harvard, and I've heard of people with 1s on APs and still got into Berkeley. If the rest of your application is good then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Just throw some D's on that (on that)...I just bought a Cadillac!

Yeah, see, the thing is, that line will affect your decision just about as much as your AP scores will.

Yeah, I agree with vicissitudes... I got in early to Yale, and had threes on my AP Physics and AP French tests (and fives on Calc AB and History). I think the AP scores really only matter if you have like 12 fives or 10 ones... both of which would certainly be indicative of something. But for anything in between that, I think that they know that teacher quality plays a lot into it.
