4.0GPA, decent EC activities, and NO UCLA regents.

What gives? Is it on a rolling basis or something?

Did UCLA say that all 4.0 applicants get it?

Same here. I’m hoping its rolling, but it doesn’t seem so? Briceies, it obviously doesn’t, but having a 4.0, decent ECs means you’re on the top of the applicants. I’m not saying that’s ideal for a regents scholar. Branson they also check your personal statement, and its really up to chance once you get those stats. I was the same, 4.0 and I had over 100 hours of community service and club activity.

Oh well. ><

What is the criteria for Regents consideration anyway?
I have an SAT score of 2340, GPA of 3.96 (B in Differential Equations at local community college during a difficult family situation), travel/internship/volunteering experience for six months abroad, started clubs, really good ECs, state competition championships, likely letters from UCLA Engineering and Ivies…but not even Regents consideration for UCLA or Berkeley. What gives? Is it my GPA?

^^ you are in the wrong place. This is for transfer applicants. You should ask on the freshman boards. You can also look on UCLA’s scholarship site. They have the criteria listed

Sounds like a ■■■■■ account to me

I’m pretty sure Regents is only for incoming freshman =)

@katty948 No, there are transfer applicants who received it.
