<p>I think he's getting at 420... which is known as a marijuana day, since it was at one point (somehow or something) the police code for posession, and thats how it was started.</p>

<p>yah 420!!!!!! now that you mention it, 1/2 of the people were gone from my classes, and im in 6APs, so they're suppose to be the "elite cream of the crop" from our school. i have practically the same classes the with same 20 people and see them day in day out its crazy, hahah and i know for a fact 1/2 of them are potheads</p>

<p>Out of the top 5 students in our senior class, 2 of us smoke (not sure about top ten but its around 25-50%).</p>
<p>Pot is very common here, I think it's a myth that smart students are antisocial nerds. That just isn't the case here. Some of the hardcore partiers are the smarest ones. :p</p>

<p>I actually think 420 is pretty damn stupid. If you're going to smoke, fine, do it, but we don't need a holiday. Admittedly, I did smoke 4 (I think) times yesterday, but that's just because a bunch of my friends who are completely insane called me up at random times.</p>
<p>The point of 420 is not just to smoke. It's a pot smoker's rights day, supposed to be a day that they speak out, let people know about the legalization issue.</p>
<p>Kinda like Earth Day for pot smokers and activists. People who take advantage of the day to cut school and get high are not only wasting a valuable opportunity but hurting their cause.</p>
