I just finished spanish 3, I struggled and managed a C+ for the year, would it be better to go on to spanish 4 or do a different class?

I’m guessing it would be better to take a different class, but you’d be best off seeing how the schools of interest to you feel about it. Good luck!

I took French my first three years of high school and AP Spanish literature and AP Spanish language this year. I didn’t think the classes were too difficult, but then again I’m a native Spanish speaker.
Spanish 4 is more about in depth reading and literary devices. They translate to English pretty easily. If you like literature I recommend you take the class. I read some of the best poems and short stories in that class. However if literature bores you, don’t take it.

One of my big beefs with school is that schools like to home in on your weaknesses and make them the center of their interventions, when to me folks should focus on their strengths and interests.
I would find what you enjoy and take it as far as possible.
