<p>I've searched quite a bit but very little comes up about weekly boarding, I'm guessing it isn't so popular in the US?
Anyway, I'll be boarding monday to saturday at Westminster, which is about an hour and a half away by train, so I'll have to carry all my stuff myself.
I was just wondering how weekly boarding works, stuff wise. Like do you normally have two sets of everything (except clothes) or does stuff just get carried back and forth? And what's it like only seeing your parents and old friends at the weekend?</p>
<p>Weekly boarding exists in the U.S., but since those schools typically draw students from the local community and, if they are private schools, generally don’t have godzilla-sized endowments to fund FA, those schools are not going to have the general interest on CC that the full-time b.s.'s will have.</p>
<p>Why not just try your new school for a couple of weeks to assess what you need. It’s not like you only have 1 opportunity during the term to acquire stuff. You have EVERY WEEKEND to do it.</p>
