5 classes as a senior.. HOW bad is it?

Hi, i know there was a recent question like this but i am considering dropping ap spanish and making my schedule 5 periods. so then it would be

ap bio
ap stat
honors physics
gov't
AP lit

im going to take precalc online. and probably also take ap spanish online.

How bad does this look to adcoms? Does it really make a big difference what i do with it? colleges like ucla, berkeley

the previous post wasnt really very informative.

UCLA and Berkeley might be annoyed if you put on your application you were taking courses, and then didn't take them. But since you already dropped the AP Spanish, I don't see it as a big problem. (Assuming you have all the credits needed to graduate from your high school...) I'd be careful about telling them about the online courses unless you really intend to complete them.

(My daughter's senior year was five classes, and one of them was yearbook. She'll be starting UCLA in a few weeks.)

hah that definitely reassured me.

any more opinions????? come on guys. you can do better than this

I'm only taking 5 as well. (Well technically 6 if you count my 0 period)
Vocal Ensemble (0 period)
Government/Economics
Bible as Literature
Philosophy/Ethics
Concert Choir
Teacher's Aide
(No, none of them are Honors/APs, but they're as close as you can get with our Senior Electives. Also, I tried to get into Honors Philosophy but it would have meant having to drop Choir and I wasn't about to do that.)

I did something like that my senior year, except I had 4 APs. It was pretty bad...barely slept many nights. But I got through.
