Those three just sound tough at the same time. But I hear Psych is "fluff" and I know Stats will be easy, so I'm gonna go for it.

I actually have encoutered challenging professors and curiculums at my current CC, so yes the 19 units there will not be a cake walk...especially with a course at UCI which requires a great deal of time to be spent at Whittier Law School law library. As far as "why are u taking so much units? u realize that uc's wont graduate u if u have too many units?"

Who said I was transfering to a UC school? I'm not.

That's a little tough. The biology + lab alone kills a lot of people I know, and they're only taking fluff classes along with. Physics I shouldn't be hard seeing that you already passed Calculus, but it's still very time consuming. Same goes for Diff. Equations.

Personally, I wouldn't take those classes at the same time. Probablly Physics + Diff Equations, but def not biology.

I averaged 5 a semester while in CC, and it went fine.

dang well I have to take Biology II this semester (required for Cornell) and really want to take Physics and Diff Eq. I'm just gonna go for it. I figure taking 6 classes in a semester that aren't all easy will prepare me well for the courseload at wherever I end up transferring to.

i took 6 classes my last semester just to transfer on time.

differential equations, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics, materials engineering, statics, and english 1B.

Now Im planning on taking 5 tech classes at Cal in my last semester to graduate on time.

it's hard, but it can be done.

Will my schedule kill me if I am shooting for straight A and won't compromise for anything else?

English 1A
Precalc
Chinese 2
Music Appreciation Honors
Poli Science Honors
Soccer

@ my CCC

no that looks pretty easy.

Is Poli Science a tough class?

if you still remember high school... 30 units of CCC courses is equivalent to 7 periods of classes in high school.

except for the fact that many people are working near full-time now...but I wonder why they limit classes to like 15 credits then - I always have to get the Dean's signature to take more, when it's actually no more than in high school.

"30 units of CCC courses is equivalent to 7 periods of classes in high school"

Not for my high school... one class I took for 3 units counted as 10 credits for high school, which is 2 classes (counted as one full year of English).

"Is Poli Science a tough class?"

It's probablly as hard as a history class, which isn't that hard at all.

To Lexicon:

"English 1A
Precalc
Chinese 2
Music Appreciation Honors
Poli Science Honors
Soccer"

That schedule is not hard at all... I've just taken U.S. History (Pre-Civil War), Art History, Astronomy, English 205 (Brit Lit), English 203 (World Lit), and French 1, a lot similar to your schedule. Personally, I had a lot of time and was not at all pressured by the amount of workload, considering that I was also employed for half of the semester while being a president of a club.

thanks alot <3

My schedule is going to be difficult

Calculus
Spanish 2 (Lab also)
English 1A
Economics 2 (Macro)

Wish me luck

Penn State

Business administration 242, looks easy...

Micro Economics - Lucked out and supposedly got the class taught by one of the best teachers available.

English 15- 1-2 essays a week IF im lucky...

French 2, c'est pas mal.

Environmental - Energy utilization and technological development, energy resources, conversion and consequences on the local and global environment, and future energy alternatives. Elective... Picked the hardest professor

STS 100- The Ascent of Humanity.

During my freshman year in college I took 19 credit hours (the maximum)...to tell you the truth... I did not see the light of day but thank GOD I did well. Just recently I took 3 credit hours and the course required you read the entire textbook word for word..in a way I felt that I was takeing 19 credit hours again... I believe my best advice would be to choose your PROFESSORS wisely. Ratemyprofessor.com is definitly a lifesaver!

That is one of the best pieces of advice for any student. I learned that the hard way this semester. :(
