Even if she doesn't beat Guiliani, she will continue the unbelievable record of having a Yale graduate on at least one major party ticket in every single U.S. Presidential Election since 1972.

Ford
Bush I
Clinton
Bush II
Presumption: Clinton II

Three out of five went to the law school at Yale. I more or less like all of them, but one. God, Dubya is an embarrassment. He's definitely not in the league of the others...

I only bump this because it is funny. Hillary really was 'inevitable' way back when, even if I refused to believe it.

Now, you will either McCain to the 'graduated second from the bottom of his class at Annapolis list' or Obama to the Harvard list, putting Harvard at 8.

^ I disagree. I honestly thought he had no chance of winning this election. Now, all I can do is hope that Hillary Clinton doesn't. I dislike her more than I dislike McCain (he has not given me any reason to dislike him).

It is astonishing, though, how much the race has changed in a matter of meer months. Guiliani isn't even in the picture, Clinton is fighting to keep her campaign alive, and McCain is the presumptive GOP nominee. What a change!

Anyone really ticked off about the "bitter Pennsylvanians" comment needs to attempt to examine the situation with some depth, and understand that even if Obama misspoke, there was a legitimate point he was trying to make. Unfortunately, Obama does not put on the same polished political facade that McCain does, and thus can say some inflammatory things. Either way, he's a hell of a lot better than a septuagenarian War Hero that is trying to equate the Iraq War to MacArthur's siege of Korea.

debate_addict -- you must do policy (I do too, don't worry). Just like on bipartisan policy on an unrelated issue is NOT going to make the farm bill pass, one (minor) gaffe is not going to make Obama lose. Obama polls show Obama steady. The latest Gallup National Tracking Poll shows him GAINING his lead.

Clinton's campaign has had far larger gaffes and mistakes. BC's framing of South Carolina, anyone?

McCain's campaign has had for more frequent, and serious, gaffes. He doesn't know about the economy. He doesn't know anything about his top issue either, apparently AIQ isn't a radical sunni group, apparently Iran isn't shia. Seriously.

Also, this isn't debate. Single statements hardly define a campaign. Obama has STRUCTURAL ADVANTAGES. Namely, he is a better candidate.

Obama was Columbia undergrad, Harvard Law grad.

It is really funny how much things change over a few months. And I also agree that the bitter comment was taken out of context. I live in PA, and for the most part, people agree with him...except for the ones who will disagree with him even if he said "The moon is not made of cheese." (..."Clearly it is made of cheese, Barack Hussein Osama, if you had more experience in politics and aged yourself 30 years you would know that the finest Swiss comprises the square that we revolve around...")
