5 on Calc AB

In retrospect, now that I've had more time to think about the FRQs, I would say that they were average. Of course, this is after working on them for 45 each and having thought about them for another 30 minutes (I thought about them for 30 minutes right afterward as I had lunch after the exam). If I was able to do the FRQ all over again with the knowledge that I have now, I'd probably get ~7-8 on each one. Of course, that's IF I could do it all over again...I probably averaged a ~4-5 on each one :(

I'm def getting a 4, but I'm pulling for a 5

I took an AB class and self-studied for BC monday and tuesday (really bad procrastination)...and I would just like to say that I think we got really lucky with those FRQs, they could have been much worse

Shut up, Matrix

does anyone know what percent out of the test you have to get right to get a 5? what was it like for past few years?

I know 75/108 was a 5 on the 2000 test

the MC was ok not as hard as expected..however on the FR, i completed 2 Fully..and every other problem..i did like 1/3 or 1/4 parts of itt..which isnt good but hopefully will significantly add on to my points.

the percentage for a 5 better be like 50% lol

question3 what the heck was that? worst question ever!

Who Also Thought #3 Was Ridicouls

All of them were pretty ridiculous..except for #1 cuz that was okay..but the rest was like ***..

that would be great!! I would for sure get a 5 on both AB and BC!

I would say number 3 and 4 sucked the most, and some of the wordings on number 5 I didn't understand. and 6c was hard too.

A 5 is typically 66.67%. This year, I imagine that the 5 won't be too different from that, probably somewhere around 64-65% (Remember that your poor performance on the FRQ was made up with the RIDICULOUSLY EASY MC).

Wow, I seriously seriously seriously screwed up my calc test. I think i failed majorly... that was a hard ass test. Hardest I have ever taken in my frickin life.

I don't think the MC was rdiculously easy, except the Calc part was pretty decent. But I didn't think there was enough time for the non-calc.

You guys really thought that the calculator MC part (the second MC with like 17 questions) was difficult? Nearly everybody in my class finished it with ~15-20 minutes left on the clock O_o

azure-

yea very true calc MC was a joke-
but if u look at the 03' MC (released with answers) it was also very straightfoward ... im sure ppl back then taking it thought they aced the MC too, but with easier FR questions of course.

i realized i fu*ked up the first free resposne calculator question. The EASIEST one. It asked for the area, volume, and volume of cross section between teh curves.

I set teh whole problem up, but when I forgot a paranthesis in my calculator and so the answer I got was really skewed.

Will I still get the majority of the points? I showed all my work leading upt ot eh answer.

FRQ was defintely hard, but i think I got around half of the possible points. MC was really easy, imo.

around 60% is a 5 right?

The MC with the calc (the 2nd part with 17 questions) was so easy. Everyone around me finished with 15 minutes left or more.

It was so dumb because I skipped like 3 on Part 1(non calc) because I ran out of time, and then we couldn't go back. They really messed up on the timing in my opinion.

They should have had 10 minutes less on Calc/Part 2 and had 10 minutes more on non-Calc/Part 1

Yeah I think the Non Calc should have been like 65 minutes and calc should have been 40.
