5 on Calc AB

I am praying so much for it. I am counting on most test takers to be equivalent to me in not being able to fully complete some FRQ's. That way the curve will reflect it accurately.

God damn college board giving pretty easy M.C and then impossible FRQ

I would have definitely taken harder MC with the FRQ's were just a bit easier

me too.... I can't wait until July because now I'm nervous

gawd.... those FRQ's....

I couldn't fully answer any of them, I think.

I was screwed.

The MC was a bit hard too for me. GAWD! damn.

We took a practice test pretty identical to the actual exams a few days before, and I got a pretty high 5 on it. What the heck happened today?

lmao. That's funny. I am hoping for the same. :D I answered every question- maybe not correctly, but I hope I will get a few "pity" points for my effort. lol.

Same here. Though I think with that I'll be lucky for a 4. The FR was ridiculous. I at least answered every question, I didn't leave anything blank, so maybe I'll get some partial credit or something.

Hate to see the harder Form B down the road.

Gahhh those FRQ's were terrible. I realized later that I did the whole first problem, the EASIEST ONE, wrong. :[

And the rest of them, I might have gotten like 2 or 3 points on each.

I am depressed now.

Oh my, tell me about it! I was SO confident after that MC, and then BAM hard as hell FRQ (Made all the practice test FRQs I took look like a piece of cake!)! I I left a couple sections of problems blank as I ran out of time, and I totally screwed one of them up by thinking the derivative of 1/X is LN(X) (Which screwed up TWO sections on that problem, gah!).

I think I did very well on the multiple choice though. I know that I at least passed; I probably got a 4.

The question with the particle. and the Constant A.. ARGH SO HARD

omg those FRQ's were sooo hard! i took the free response sections from the 2004,2005, and 2006 tests and they were all pretty consistent with one another and decently easy. Like they each had a slope field on them and some other common questions. The test today was soooo different and there was practically nothing on it that was similar to the past 3 years of FRQ's. Ughh that made me soooo angry! I thought I would get a 4, but now I'm just hoping for a 3

80-90% on the MC.
I don't even want to talk about the FRQ's...
I maybe got 1/2 - 2/3 of the possible points...

I hope the curve is OK, because I need that 5!

Also - was anyone else surprised by some of the topics? There were a few things on there (MC) that my teacher said were only on the BC exam.

MY GAWD, what the hell was up with that constant A? I was so confused..... I couldn't get the first non-calculator question either.... Dangit! I thought I was so prepared.

I got the constant A, and a couple other parts of questions, but OH GOOD LORD that FRQ was hard.

I was all confident about the MC too.

But oh vell, no more AP tests for meeeeee!

what was the constant A? i remember just getting some ugly function and at that point i didn't try anymore cuz i just thought it was wrong

I thought the FR was easy. I got all of them I think except for that gay Mean Value Theorem one.. I BSed the first two parts of that question.

The Non-Calc MC was a B*TCH, though. I skipped like 5 and guessed on none cuz I didn't wanna risk it. The Calc MC was a joke - finished with like 20 minutes left.

I hope it's enough for a 5, but Calc is my easiest AP test (APES, APUSH, English 11, Bio, and Physics)

As for constant A.. EditSorry, can't discuss answersEdit

what was the curve last year for a 5? like what percent?

on another note: when i was coming out of the room, everyone's face was like :O !!!!AAAAAAAH!!!!! darn frq...mc wasn't too bad, but i probably got tricked by a couple, and I skipped 2

Bruin, the moderators won't let us discuss answers.

if anyone says the FR was easy I'm going to slap them.

Hmm I don't get how this person thought the FR was easy, but the non calc MC hard. I know the non-calc MC was tricky, but it was a whole lot easier than the free response!!!

Haha, I don't know, dude.. But I worked everyone of the MCs out and got an EXACT answer for all of them - except the Mean/Average Value Theorem one with the table.

The non-calc MC was a bit tricky, and I ran outta time, so I didn't go back and redo the harder ones.
