<p>Evening all, a while back I was on here looking and reading about colleges and such. I was in community college and that was about a year ago. Well, in Oct. 2007, I joined the Marine Corps. I basically felt that community college was not challenging enough, and was just wasting my time.</p>
<p>Well now that im in the Corps, i've noticed I miss college a lot and feel very eager to go back. I'm pretty much set on getting out after my first enlistment and going back to college, by then i'll be 24 = (</p>
<p>Anyways, I have a good amount of time to think about what I want to do in college. My high school GPA was nothing great, as I didn't have much of any drive in high school, around 2.8</p>
<p>In community college, I was doing well, around 3.4 I believe. Im a California guy, and want to go to college in California, but not sure if I want to go back to the community college life style (Didn't like it much), so does anyone know if theres a good Cali State college that would be good to get into, then transfer? </p>
<p>In the end, i'd wish to go to USC or UC Berkeley.</p>
<p>(Just trying to make a rough map for my college life...And it still feels overwhelming.)</p>
