I know 500 words is the ideal maximum, but my 557 word supplement is amazing. Do you think the excess of 57 words will be acceptable?

yes (as long as the computer doesn’t cut it off if you are doing it online… I have no idea if it would, just saying if there is a text box that says “500 words” that it could cut off anything over that)

Just so everyone knows, at the “Fall Focus” Saturday that I attended, the admissions rep said that the optional submission was to take a piece of 8.5x11 paper and do whatever you wanted with it. I’m not saying that you have to redo your essay, but just to be safe, you should format it so it fits on one sheet of paper. Just a heads up. Hope to see you next year!

That’s absolutely fine! The 500 words is just a guideline, jut make sure you print out your application first to be sure it doesn’t get cut off.

Slightly over 500 words is no problem. We’re not evil word counters!
