58 Units Conditionally Admitted into CSU Chico, Do I still have a chance of getting in the Spring?

Hello everyone, I’ve done 3 years at my community college at College of San Mateo. I admit that I have withdrawn from a couple of classes and failed a couple. I did make all of them up, and I will be able to Academically Renew one F from my class by next semester, Spring 2017. I have been conditionally admitted to CSU Chico if I passed my classes I took in the Fall 2016, but I found out that I have failed my physics class last semester and will only have 58 units by next semester when I’m supposed to transfer. I was wondering if I there’s any chance they’ll still be accept me into the school because I will only be missing TWO units and can maybe make it up during the summer of 2017?? If it is any reconciliation, I’ve went through a car accident, lost my job, and had a family death during this past semester if that will be an excuse for an Appeal if they do deny me admission. I was wondering if any of you think I still have a chance to get into the school? Your input is greatly appreciated because I’m really anxious to get into the school and start my higher education. Thanks for reading and thanks for your input.

your conditional admission should have spelled out some pretty specific contingencies. My guess is, #1 on the list was, pass all classes in progress. I’d suggest you contact Chico and ask them how to proceed ASAP. They may allow you to re-take and pass the course this semester - but, they may not.
Good luck.
