the UC admissions website says "at least 600". will 7 words under kill me? Any of you guys had this experience (c/o 06 and before)

There is no rule that says you can't write under the limit; nesdies, 7 words is nothing. If you have written the best essay you can with 593 words, you are in great shape.

There is no way anybody can write exactly 600 words. My teacher said under or over 10 by 10 is fine.

It's enough.

don't worry about that
there are other things you need to worry about rather than that

do you think they'[ll seriously notice?

What about 550? too short?

I promise that they do mot have time to count words...

my common app essays were 450 wds... they won't care.
