622, too long for 600 word essay?

<p>Well I know have a 606 word essay and a 207. Im re-reading the 207 one now ot see if I can cut out a couple of words.</p>

<p>No admissions committee will stop reading at 600 words if the extra 22 words are necessary to the understanding of the essay. If you have edited and edited and think your essay is as concise as it can be, then leave it alone.</p>

<p>yes i agree.. the word limit should not stop you from writing something crucial that you want to write. You are paying for them somewhere around $65+ to read your application</p>
