650 on Math II

I have the Barrons Math II book, 9th edition, and I took the diagnostic test at the beginning and scored a 650. I haven't really prepared yet or taken any timed tests (except this one). Can I get an 800 in October? How should I study?

Barron’s Math II practice exams are notoriously hard. I’ve heard of some who scored 650-700 on the practice tests and got an 800 on the real thing. Don’t let that get your hopes up too high, but I wouldn’t let a 650 on the diagnostic worry you.

I didn’t get my real test back yet, but I got a 650 on one Barrons test and a 680 on the other and then I got a 790 on the Sparknotes practice test. I feel like I got a 750+ on the real thing but I’ll tell you for sure on the 24th.

Throw away Barron’s if you are looking for realistic practice tests that represent the difficulty of the real exam. Instead, do some of the tests from PR and Peterson’s.
