<p>well, there is a whole forum about this - but i feel inclined to tell you that I personally think that 8-year programs are better. I know someone will write back with a difference of opinon, which is fine, but you miss some experiences by skipping the year. The 8-year programs still give you all of the confidence that comes with the conditional acceptance. </p>
<p>Excellent 8-year programs include Rice/Baylor (yay!), University of Rochester REMS, and Brown's PLME.</p>
