700s Math II/Physics Scores

I scored 710 and 700 (49th and 57th percentiles) on the November Math II and Physics tests. Will submitting these scores to top LACs ruin my chances even if my other credentials are good?

Note that I am planning on majoring in philosophy/linguistics.

Am I doomed?

My SAT I scores are 730 CR, 700 WR, and 670 M.

Should I submit them or not? I’m conflicted because they are over/at 700 but around the 50th percentile.

RIP. Only a CC will accept you now, and even that’s a stretch.

Youre probably fine. It might be bad if you were applying engineering or something but anything above 700 is a great score. In your case, this might even help you since it shows that you are a balanced student who can do math/science as well as humanities.

Note that the percentiles are lower because only 10 % or less of the ones who take the normal sat take the subject tests in physics and science. And these 10 % are already higher achievers.

Thank you Sparkl3 and Meriks. This forum gives students warped conceptions of reality.
