For a mid year report.. would a college rather see me get a 95 in honors physics or a 75 (mabye 80) in AP...

Looking at NYU Lehigh Colgate etc

The 95 in the honors clearly, as 75 in AP is 'too' low to value the APness. The honors I'd say is good enogh to show challenge as long as the rest of yoru classes are hard too

It depends upon how your school's GPA weighting system affects your class rank. If the 75 in an AP class gives you a higher weighted grade for the purpose of computing class rank than would the 95 in the honors class, then the AP class is the way to go. If not, go with the honors class.

If you can bring up the 75 to an B, then I'd pick the AP.

Why do have a choice?

My other classes are hard.. i'm taking
ap calc ab
ap lit
ap gov
ap eco
honors spanish
ap physics atm

ap physics is kinda overwhemling and idk i hear honors is much easier.. weighting is the same.. i just took an ap science last year and wasnt sure if it would look bad to go from ap bio to honors physics

if you get an 80, AP Physics. if you get a 75, Honors Physics.

What would you say for a 78 or 79?

wow asherm im in the same position as you, except that my ap physics grade is a bit higher. but i think ill stick to ap, you should too

wait why r u in ap physics but considering a drop down to honors. and duh honors is easier than ap in anything
