750 SAT I Math - No hope for Wharton?

So I just got my October SAT scores back and...750 on math. I got an 800 in march, but Upenn looks at all scores. How bad will this 750 look (especially since it's a downward trend)? Am I totally screwed or is there still some semblance of hope?

God I hope this is a ■■■■■.

First of all, while Penn takes all Scores, they Super Score and only look at the highest, so you still have an 800.

Second of all, even if you didn’t a 750 is a fine score.

That said, you have an 800 in Penn’s eyes, stop being melodramatic.

^haha im not a ■■■■■, sorry if i come off as being one. I’m just a little peeved at my less than stellar score. Thanks for the reassurance though.

Oh ok good. Yeah, Penn’s admissions will only look at your 800. There are two types of Super Scores. The way Penn’s works is the Admissions Office gets all your scores, they take the highest, put them together, and that’s the only thing they look at. Once they have the highest of each section, they don’t even look at the other scores anymore.

I got my SAT scores back and my superscore is ~ 2200… is that bad or should I retake again? If I do it would be my fourth try… but I feel my score isn’t good enough esp. with everyone posting like 2300+!!

Consider yourselves lucky. I have a mere 2060 super score, and I’m applying (just hoping for the best). I’m so jealous of all you 2200+.

No one can tell you whether to retake or not. I got a 2310 first sitting and retook it despite people telling me not to, and now I have a 2350 super score. If you think you can improve, do it.

Does having it be my fourth time hurt though?

Staller - how do you know that’s how they superscore them? (I know that they superscore, but didn’t know they pick the highest scores and then not look at any other ones)

everyone has to stop being so morbid about their test scores. i have a 2150 and am going to penn for sports, and i know mostly everyone is going to have better scores than me. but saying u aren’t good enough is such a poor outlook on life. if u believe u can do it and have the test scores to back it up, don’t act like you arent good enough
