7th and/or 8th students SAT -Duke TIP/John Hopkins

My daughter is in 8th grade and she took the SAT for the first time in January. Her scores are 600 in reading, 540 in math, 570 in Writing, and 8 in the Essay. I am pretty satisfied with her scores because she qualifies for the Duke TIP summer programs and the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth....
Anyone else took the SAT in grades 7 and 8 this past January? Anyone else applying for any of these tow programs?

Hello! I’m an 8th grader too. My January scores just came in (770, 710, 760, 2240 composite). I’m already in both programs because of my 7th grade scores (700, 730, 680, 2110 composite). Her scores are impressive, especially the essay- mine was an 8, and it probably deserved a 7 because I didn’t even write a conclusion. You might also want to try applying to NUMATS or the Colorado School of Mines’ CBK, depending on where you live.
