800 on SAT II = 5 on AP Exam? -Chemistry-

780 SAT II, 5 AP Chemistry. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Yes for sure.

I got:
800 Chem - 5
770 Bio E - 5
760 US H - 5

and for Collegeboard Practice tests

770 World History - 5
750 Lit - 5 on English Lang

I believe if you get a 750 or above, you are pretty much guaranteed a 5 since your understanding of the subject is way above the standard (90+ percentile)

The USH subject test was harder than the AP test. :(

That makes 2 of us! Yes! I have convinced one more person to tell college board to s**k it.

Dang, I hope they don’t cancel my scores because I called them a greedy corporation.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the insight. I just wanted to follow up and say that I indeed got an 800 on the SAT II’s and a 5 on the AP Exam! :)

I guess I am stupid for taking the subject test after one year of chemistry…

But I still got an 800! :D

I agree with a lot of the replies on this thread in that I believe that the AP exam will definitely be much harder than the SAT II Chemistry test. Remember, there are a lot of kids that didn’t take honors/AP Chemistry, yet still take the SAT II Chemistry exam. The test committee keeps this in mind as well when it is creating the exam.
But you are definitely on your way to a 5 in the AP exam!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure a 800 on the SAT II indicates a potential 5 on the AP. I got a 780 and a pretty comfortable 5.
