***, 81% is an A but 80% is a B+!!!!????

Shouldn't it be an A-??? I'm f**king depressed cuz I got 80.

it could have gone either way- he could have divided the range for A into regular A and A- so he could have just been doing the ppl with A-'s a favor

you know you pretty much told us your ID number.......

Pretty lenient grading scale. You should be happy. You don't even have to take any midterms to pass the class

way to point it out to everyone

so what? theres nothing you can really do with it

I wish high school had those curves. :)

Come on, if you guys were in my shoes, you'd be pi ssed off too. Just 1% from A.

Epidemiology 100 doesn't even have midterm. 100% final would make you very nervous.

I'm scared to to PH minor now..

Does the syllabus say anything about the grading? In any case contact the professor and ask what the cutoff was for an A-. Then beg for that A- =)

I'd much rather have the full set of grades with -/+'s.

you're not thinking about the more likely scenario which would have been that instead of all the a students getting the A, some of those in that group would have gotten a-'s rather than b+ students getting boosted up to an a-

wow are all the grading scales like this? this seems pretty lenient compared to high school

No, grading scales depend on how well your class does.
