I got an 89 in woods will colleges actually care about that. Its really pissing me off because it dropped my gpa by 2 points and its the lowest grade ive ever gotten. He only gave me such a bad grade cause he doesnt like me which is bs. Another kid got a 98 even though he spends the entire class doing nothing. He completed the project 2 weeks late and he still got a better grade than me. Will any college hold this grade against me, or since its just an elective will they not care?
It’s not a core class; I doubt they will care. Even if it were a core class, it would not be the determining factor in acceptance vs. rejection. Relax.

Go have a chat with the teacher, and ask what you could have done to get a better grade than you did. There may have been a mistake. And, of course, iff you can present solid evidence that your work is equivalent or superior to the work of students who received better graded in the class, then you may be able to argue that your grade is incorrect.
But please leave that bad attitude at home when you head into that meeting.
Colleges don’t count those classes like art, woods, and health into your GPA. your fine and it will not impact you at all.
For my edification, what is “woods?”
Sorry for hijacking this thread, but when colleges recalculate your GPA, do they most likely use their own weighted scale or do they just use unweighted?
For the universities with which I am familiar, unweighted and only “core” subjects. However, they expect a student to be challenged by a very rigorous curriculum and they know their “feeder” high schools so well that they understand (for example) a 3.4 (with Z APs/IBs/Honors) at school X may be superior to a 3.5 (same number and sort of APs/IBs/Honors) at school Y.
