8th grade ECs

<p>I am in the 8th grade and I want you to rate my ECs.(Hoping for MIT/Stanford) </p>

<p>-Starting Tenis this summer
-Starting Cross country this summer
-Starting Golf this summer
( I ran into a medical condition and I am quiting contact sports for non contact.)
-Will have a summer job at my parents law firm
-Boy Scouts since third grade
-Piano since 2nd grade
-Tutor kids in Hebrew
-Jewish youth group (will run for leadership position in highschool.)</p>

<p>I have straight As and will likely be going into Pre Calc and Statistics in 9th grade. I am going to a first year STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) focused highschool and there will be no clubs the first year. What are other good ECs I can do through my community? (accademic would be good.)</p>

<p>Lol, you’re in 8th grade. ECs don’t really count before highschool, perhaps the summer of 8th grade will count for some schools.</p>

<p>Where do you live? Are you Jewish?</p>

<p>If you are Jewish, and live in a Jewish area, I strongly recommend you volunteer for Yachad, Friendship Circle, and whatever community service opportunities are offered in your area.
Trust me, if you live in a Jewish area, you’ll be able to find plenty of community service opportunities that are worthwhile.</p>
