8th Grade Summer Grade from a CC

Hey there! I am a HS Junior from California. I came to the United States in 7th Grade. In 8th Grade, I was able to take Geometry. When I got to High School, my counselor wanted me to take introductory algebra from a local CC (equivalent to Alg1/2 in HS). I did it but I only received a B. Since then, I got A in Algebra 3/4 (9th Grade), A in Precalculus (10th Grade), A in Calculus BC (10th grade concurrently with Precalc from an online institution; 5 on AP Calc BC test), A in Calculus Based Physics I, II, and III (from a local CC, that’s the highest level ones they offer, 11th Grade), A in Multivariable (11th Grade), A in Differential Equation and Linear Algebra (11th Grade). Since our HS require 3 year of Math (on our High School Transcript) to graduate, so I transfer the B in elementary Algebra from 8th Grade onto it so I could graduate. Does that B from 8th Grade summer matter to top engineering schools?

*I only have PreCalculus and Alg 3/4 on my Home High School Transcript

No

This grade won’t cause any problems for you. However, you still will need to have an official transcript sent from that CC when you apply to college.

Won’t matter. I got a B+ at a pretty decent local University when I was 13 or 14 and I’m not worried.
