OP–I think your schedule sounds very hard but it’s manageable if you’re smart and very motivated. These are the classes I took freshman year and how I did in them with approx 3 of effort after school each day(8th grade SAT=1850):
Geometry Honors (B+)
Biology (A)
World History (A-)
Algebra II w/ Trig Honors (A-)
French II (A-)
English Lang & Lit Honors (A)
PE & Health (A+)

what are you interested in? you should focus your classes around that. make a four year plan to start. For top schools, you should take 4 math, 4 english, 3 science, 3 social studies, 4 foreign language, 1 art, and as many extra classes that suit your strengths as you can.

“I’ve even heard 7th grade was harder than Freshman year. I’ve seen work from these classes and to me it’s absolutely nothing.”
Far too much arrogance.

Math 3 Honors, Civics and Economics Honors, Biology Honors, Earth and Environmental Honors, English 1 Honors, P.E., French 1, Precalculus Honors.

so your jumping from math 1 in 8th grade to precalc?
i wouldn’t say your 8th grade schedule is that hard, it pretty difficult, but not difficulty shooting though the roof hard.

Do you have any SAT scores?(CTY)
Have you had any experience with competitive math? You thinking your smart doesn’t make you smart.

When did I say that? You’re leaving out a lot. Can you…even read? I mentioned taking Math 2 & 3 before those classes. What do you mean competitive math? I was in Math Counts. I’ve had As in math forever. Too much arrogance? Honestly, the only class I’m scared for is Biology Honors. Is 3 Honors and one elective a semester with the easiest classes in the school sound that hard?

That’s right. My siblings had to study 7th grade vocabulary and that was more studying time compared to freshman year at the high school. My sister is a sophomore, I haven’t seen her study once and she had received maximum quality points last year.

Mathcounts is very basic math. Did you make nationals? States? Scores? Have you done amc?
“My sister is a sophomore, I haven’t seen her study once”,well do you pay alot of attention to everything your sister does. You don’t need to be pouring over notes to be studying. You could be studying by going over course materials in your head.
A’s in math forever doesn’t mean your good at math, it means you understand at least the bare basics(considering the math classes you have taken).
“3 Honors and one elective a semester with the easiest classes in the school sound that hard?”
Math 3 Honors,
Civics and Economics Honors,
Biology Honors,
Earth and Environmental Honors,
English 1 Honors,
pre-calc honors
which is your freshman schedule according to post #1, which is more that 3 honors.
“I could want to take Math 2 honors online this summer” according to post #1. So I could infer that you are taking something lower than math 2, otherwise why would you need to take it over the summer. Mentioning the fact that your going to do math 2,3 and pre-calc, does not negate my statement of going from math 1( algebra 1) to pre-calc being a big jump.

You seriously need to check your attitude
Your posts are kinda incoherent, and throwing out insults to people that don’t agree with you isn’t cool
You seem pretty set on doing what you want anyway, and even if you change your mind your parents may not let you pick a different schedule. So what’s the point in asking here?

@wcao not everyone smart does mathcounts/math competitions… Not everyone smart is good at them…
Haha my 7th grade year was harder than my freshman year.
Honestly, I’m going to go off the standard path here. Your counselor probably doesn’t know you well enough to make the call. My advice: talk to some (relatively smart) upperclassmen and ask them how difficult their course load was. At my public school, the honors classes are jokes so I really wonder how easy the normal classes are.

Top worst replies to this thread:
wcao: “The math seems pretty average.”

wcao: “does not negate my statement of going from math 1( algebra 1) to pre-calc being a big jump.” Wait, so is it “pretty average” to you still?

TheAtlantic : “You seem pretty set on doing what you want anyway, and even if you change your mind your parents may not let you pick a different schedule. So what’s the point in asking here?” Funny. Check post #17.

How is it a big jump if I’m gonna have the prerequisites done? I really love staying active with Math. I feel a void in my life without a current math class. The reply about pi, probability and all was a joke. “so your jumping from math 1 in 8th grade to precalc?” Yes, and I’m bringing my knowledge of subtraction and remainders and factor trees with me. (I’m kidding)
