9/9/08 SAT Question of the Day

The Official SAT Question of the Day™

I got the right answer but my method differed from theirs. Can you guys tell em if if doing it correctly?

They did 180/t = 60 / t

i did 180/60 = x/t

X being the height since 180 is the height of miguel, so i just set the proportions. Correct? no? Help me out dawgs.

yup urs is correct

and im taking this as u mean "180/x = 60/t" not "180/t = 60 / t" cuz that would be illogical

No, you're right. I did it the same way.

word. this is like the EASIEST math problem ever. Simple ratios. but they go and try to make it all complex. It's not :p

180 is 3(6)
X is 3(t)

so its 3t.

o_o

anhtimmy reread my post.

Thanks everyone-just making sure my methodology is correct.

what about it?
its my way of doing it
