9th grader Goals for High School

I'm in 9th grade and im just trying to set up my goals for high school. Currently i have a 3.9 GPA. I want to maintain that GPA or if things get worse 3.8. I took a PSAT a few months ago and scored 1840. I will start studying for SATs nex year and set a goal of 2150+. I am in all honors except geometry (one year ahead) in math. I was in 2 clubs this year but probably 3 or 4 next year. I also play some out of school sports (AAU basketball and baseball) but didn't play any school ball this year. NExt year probably baseball and football. I already have 100 hours of community/ volunteer hours at church and other things. I am half Japanese half Chinese (probably a negative thing). My aim for community service is probably 400+. I think i will take 3 AP classes in Junior and 2 for senior. Proably take

For my career i want to go into business and i gues try to gain some relevant experiences. So now here are the schools im interested in: Berkely, U of washington, NYU, Notre Dame, Brown, Cornell, U Penn, U of Michigan*, and Wake Forest.

Im just really trying to set up some goals. Do you guys think if i maintain these goals, i can get into the starred colleges? If not please debate on my listings! Probably start working my butt off next year.

take harder classes.

Get leadership positions (aka, get popular).

Stop doing these things for college.

Do them because you enjoy them.

So leadership you mean like treasurer and president etc? And also do these colleges want students to be like highly acedemically talented, like win math contests and awards and all that or like diversed being good at sports and all. Also im basically taking all the hardest classes except for math for my grade.

you are in 9th grade? maybe sign off of college confidential and go do something cool with your time?

Have fun and try new things!

And also keep on reading. One of the things I regret most about high school is not making the time to read for fun.

Im obvioously gonna enjoy my life. Im just planning ahead and just trying to get some advice. I mean setting up goals is essential.

So you're basing your future goals in life on what colleges are looking for??

well i do want to get into a good college because i want to become a businessman. As i said before, i just want to know and get advices for these colleges. THings will probably change. I am just worrying about the future cuz i dont want to be too late.
