Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford
Columbia
UChicago
Northwestern
Carleton
U of Minn (in state)

THANKS!

here's the thing. i am SO completely jaded at this point because i have been eatting, sleeping, breathing these boards to get ready for junior year. and every once in a while, someone will post something and be like, "oh, what are my chances?" truth: if ur posting here you already KNOW your chances are good. why is someone with a near 4.o, a 2300+ sat, a highly successful business, and a few quirky, interesting ec's asking? do you want me to tell you ur not getting in? chillax, take some tylenol, and just see where you get in next spring like everone else, sweety.

amen to that

amen to the amen to that

theres no need to get ****y over people posting their stats, regardless of how magnificent they are, that's what this forum was made for.

HYPS-reach
Columbia- slight reach
UChicago-match
Northwestern-match
Carleton-safe match
U of Minn (in state)-safety

everyone's a reach for hyps, but you've got a pretty good shot at making at least one of them.

This isn't a "chance me" thread...this is more of a "brag/look at me" thread. I mean come on, seriously. There's not a single flaw in your application, and you know it. Do you think one of us are going to come here and say "oh, it's not 2400 you should re-take the test", plus add your 1000 hours and your Jewish status? Serious, just...seriously?

BUT...I think you're trolling, seriously believe it.

After looking at your entire post history, every single thing you have posted has been a "chance me" thread, with IDENTICAL words. You have gotten over 15 responses combined, yet you still post another chance me thread within this short a time frame? Seriously, I believe these aren't even your stats.

Selling re-usable flashcards? When you say "couple" that means you're been doing this since begining of freshman year/before. As a person who also started up his own business, I know that you need a merchant account, pay a trademark fee, recognition from the state, copyright, and other paperwork. Do I honestly believe you have had the capability to do this in what, junior high?

Now if you were like most kids and started a small proprietorship for fun in JR high I could understand, but "thousands of dollars" warrents something serious and needing an account.

You're faking it. And I just exposed you. Good day :)

Stop posting identical threads over and over again. I knew kids at Southwest sucked...but this just confirms it. coughanalretentivecough

Go Tigers.

dude dont post the same post twice?

you guys are too analytical....just give the poor kid his chances

yeah stop b***ing and give her some feedback, and if you don't want to read it then back click and move on.

OP you've accomplished quite a lot (great job!) I think your stats are definitely high enough for UChicago, Northwestern,Carleton, and Stanford and like floppy said Ivy League schools are a reach for anyone. Ignore the bashers they're just jealous (and I'm sure I'll get bashed for saying that)

decent shot at HYPS. you will proabably get into 1 of them
the rest all look pretty promising
