a 2nd bachelors degree? (how do these work)

lets say i have coursework at one university...about 100 credits

and then i leave that university and go somewhere else and start a different major...

but then i go back and finish my major at the original university...can i come back and transfer some credits from my first degree to a 2nd bachelors degree?

or must a 2nd bachelors degree alwayas be with fresh new classes?

Usually gen eds and electives from college A will transfer to college B which means that a second bachelor’s degree should only take about two years to complete. However, which specific credits transfer from A to B depends entirely on B. If A is not a fully-accredited institution, or if there are no real equivalents for A’s coursework at B, the second degree may take a full four years.

Sit down with the transfer admissions office at B and show them your transcripts from A and talk with them about your long-term goals. They can help you with this.
